Chapter 6.2.
Takeda Shingen

“A strange vending machine has just appeared.”

“A vending machine? In an abandoned town?”

Shingen’s eyebrows twitched, and I stopped drinking.

“Who put up a vending machine? Let’s hurry up and go get the contents.”

One of the men in the bar smirks at me, but Shingen folds his arms and snarls.

“If we put a vending machine in this abandoned town, it’s bound to get destroyed immediately, and the entire vending machine, not just its content gets stolen.
It’s not an ordinary vending machine?”

“That’s right-nyan.
A glance is better than a hundred words.
Let’s go take a look-nya.”

Karin posed to show off her body.
They look at each other, thinking it looks interesting.
For the time being, Karin seems to have misremembered the proverb.

“Do you want to go see it too? Sakimori.”

“Ah, that vending machine.
It’s interesting.
What on earth are they selling?”

“I’m afraid to go near it-nya.
Because I don’t want to get in trouble if it’s a mimic-nya.”

“You’re a bouncer, aren’t you? gotta be strong.”

I smiled and got up.
Shingen also got up and called out to his men.

“This is a bit of a dangerous place-nyan.
The other day, three thieves were killed by goblins-nyan.
We need to get rid of the goblins too-nyan?”

“I’m going to get a reward, right?”

“Can I use my body-nyan?”

She was talking lightly and twisting her body, so he rubbed her chest.

“Fukak!”

She probably didn’t expect to be rubbed.
Sakimori smiles wickedly at Karin, who jumps up and flicks her tail back.

“Sora, show us the way.”

“I become a damaged item-nya! I’ll have to become Sakimori’s wife-nya!”

When she pretended to kick him, she stuck out her tongue and led the way, making Shingen and I look at each other and laugh hysterically.

[Hard-boiled? Hard-boiled? Well then, next time, let me try what you just did.
We’ll summon all the machines later.]

[Don’t make me use my skills for something stupid.
Hey, I’ll give you chocolate later].

He was a hard-boiled raw egg uncle who would avert his eyes from the angry Shizuku-san who was glaring at him.

The place she led them to was an abandoned building with no signs of life or popularity.
Blood and bones were lying beside it.
This place is the place where three people tried to attack the young man the other day.

[Firesnake]

About eight goblins.
Sakimori stood in front of Shingen and his men, waving his index finger like tact and manipulating the fire serpent, twisting it around one enemy after another and easily defeating them.
It was a piece of cake.

“That’s great, aniki! I’ve never seen magic like that before!”

Ooki-kun said something to me, but I brushed it off.
Shingen and the others were on guard with spears in one hand and wooden shields in the other, but they were relieved not to have to fight.
Goblins have the same power as adults.
If they fought, there was a good chance they would be injured.

“Your magic is as brilliant as ever.
I’m relieved to have you with me.
So, is that it?”

Shingen walks over, making a clattering sound with his samurai armor, and points to an existence beside the ruins.

“That’s it! That the strange vending machine-nya.”

A translucent monolith was placed there.
Sakimori would like to ask her why she called it a vending machine.
She must have noticed how Sakimori was looking at her, asking her what she meant.
Karin answered with a nyan-nyan.

“I went up to it and looked at it, and I saw that it said ‘exchange for something’.”

He understood.
So she saw the display.

“First of all, I had to check if it was a mimic or not.
[Fire Arrow].”

Mimics are demons that disguise themselves as objects.
They usually disguise themselves as boxes, so be careful of boxes in unnatural places, or you’ll get hurt.
They have a bite comparable to that of a pair of tiger scissors, so they can be dangerous if approached without caution.

“Eh.
Wait for a minute-nya.”

I replied with a cold stare at Nyan Cat, who waved her hand hurriedly.

“I won’t wait.”

He creates a flaming arrow in his hand and shoots it out.
The arrow sprayed sparks of fire and hit the monolith, then burst into flames and disappeared.

“Hongya! You’re doing weird stuff-nya? What are you going to do if it breaks-nya?”

“If this thing breaks, someone will take it right away.
It doesn’t seem to be a mimic.”

Shrugging his shoulders as if it was nothing, he approached the suspicious-looking vending machine.
Shingen and the others, who also knew it wasn’t mimic, approached the vending machine.

Then they see the vending machine and look at each other in bewilderment.

“What do you think this means?”

“Ummm…it has something to do with the …… dungeon.
I wonder what it is?”

The vending machine was displaying contents that didn’t make sense, and everyone had a questioning look.

…… Someone tell them the correct answer.
