A ball of paper hit the back of my head instantly waking me from my unsuccessful sleep. Multiple paper balls followed suit but I didn get up or turn around to know the people responsible cos I already knew them. Ricky the school bully and his gang. They were not the type of people anyone wants to mess with… They were always behind in class and it was a mystery how he was always promoted to the next class but we all knew that money was the answer…

” Hey hoodie! Why aren you moving… Are you deaf? ”

”Probably ”

And everyone burst out laughing. I was used to this as I was the school nerd and known as the intelligent boy with the oversized hoodie. I wasn the only one but I stood out cos of my hoodie. I always wore an oversized hoodie to cover my face, I don go anywhere without it. I was recently transferred to this school as a transfer student for my last year in highschool before getting into college. It was a known private school for rich kids only, but everyone knew that amongst the rich there was the powerful ones, the 1% of the rich… The wealthiest those no one messes with.

They were well known and everyone avoided them while most people tried to curry favor with them there by signing up for a life of slavery. They could choose to share the same class with everybody or just have private lessons specially for them in class.

Few were nice but the rest were the worst set of students to exist in life! Suprisingly they were really intelligent, the pride of the school!!

Drip! Drip! Drip! Splash!!

I felt something wet from head down to my shirt and I looked up to see a group of girls with an empty can of milk shake over my head and behind them the whole class was roaring with laughter while some had there phone up recording..

I tried to look up but another content came pouring down on me and God! It smelt bad… I think it was spoilt.. I felt like puking…

”What are you gonna do huh? Smarty-pants? ”

Just then the school bell went off and everyone slowly left till it was just me. After an hour, I got up to leave cos I couldn stand the stink.

Kathy POV

I saw a lot of people starring at me as I passed… Yeah I know, I was the school beauty and the richest girl in school courtesy of my parents although there is a rumour that someone was richer than my parents, it was still unknown who the mystery richest kid was. It was said to be a guy but no one knew who he was.

Suddenly… I perceived an awful smell, gosh it was so bad.

”Whats that smell? ”

”Smells like rotten egg ”

”Its worse than that ” said Lena and Ruby my two close friends as they held there nose. Suddenly I saw the reason for the smell. It was a boy in an unbelievably large hoodie that made it impossible to see his face not to mention the black face mask. He had his face to the ground as he walked slowly and I was getting irritated… These are people I can stand!

The water can Lena had caught my attention as I grabbed it and just as he passed us I splashed the whole content in his face I think… Since it was impossible to see.

He stopped dead in his tracks.

”Sorry didn see a human there, thought it was trash ” I said with a smirk and Lena and Ruby burst into laughter although they tried to suppress it. Soon I had a few audience, but just as they were laughing he started leaving, startling me.

That was a first time… Usually the others would be too shy to leave or end up begging to let go but he just…. Left!

”Hey! ”

No response

”Hey! You deaf? Am talking to you! ”

”No response… Keeps walking.

”What the heck! Come back here right now! ” I was so furious not to mention the fact that I was loosing face before everyone but that was the least of my problem… It was the first time anyone disobeyed me not to mention walking out on me! I will make sure you regret this who ever you are… I said within me as I watched his back disappear.
